As a highly experienced multi-media journalist, well-known in the healthcare IT sector from her time on EHI (eHealth Insider), Sarah has many skills of enormous value to clients. Most immediately she knows just what will make a story that will attract positive coverage, raising clients’ profiles with potential customers. She also has the skills to write effective press releases and articles for newspapers, magazines and for publication online. In an age of electronic communication and with the rise of social media, Sarah is also an invaluable asset thanks to her ability to help clients make the best use of the latest and most appropriate means of communication – whether that’s video or web-based tools like Linkedin, Twitter or Facebook.
“The world of communications is changing fast. Traditional media such as newspapers and magazines remain influential, but there are many other ways to reach your audience – some are instant and direct. We can help companies talk to exactly the people they want to reach. And when it comes to debates on the big issues affecting IT and healthcare, we can make their voices heard.”
A little about Sarah:
- Brought up on a farm and as a keen horse rider, she is very fond of animals, and has memories of a recent expedition into the jungles of Thailand when the elephant on which she was mounted insisted on walking backwards.
- Sarah loves food, especially if someone else is cooking, and has a reputation for enjoying just about anything her host prepares. Friends now take it as a challenge to find something she’ll refuse. She found a plate full of chicken feet quite irresistible but reckons she might draw the line at fried scorpion.
- A favourite past-time is to put on an iPod and go walking in search of London’s secret delights, from tucked-away parks to unusual cafes. Another is reading autobiographies – including ones of successful entrepreneurs like Richard Branson.
