  • Senior Account Director - Central London, UK

    £65k – £70k plus benefits

    The Opportunity

    We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced senior account director to lead, inspire and motivate both our clients and our account teams alike. Working closely with the existing leadership team, you will have the latitude to make your mark as a commercially sharp leader who can create and execute bold and innovative account strategies, develop new business and construct a dynamic team with the grit to excel.

    As senior account director you will take the lead with clients from day one, providing insightful and creatively led expertise across PR, social media, integrated marketing and design and branding projects and campaigns, connecting customers with brands and engaging and building advocacy at every opportunity.

    Specific Responsibilities

    • Drive and execute mission-critical client account strategies – demonstrating deep understanding and insight into clients’ business, markets, brand and strategic goals; exceeding expectations; developing key account strategies; supporting growth of the HM brand
    • Maximise revenues from existing client accounts – developing customer retention and development strategies; supporting proposal development and client presentations
    • Create, manage and strengthen relationships within the account teams – building momentum, setting direction, coaching for performance and development and driving execution
    • Engage effectively with internal stakeholders, including content and design leads, working collaboratively across the organisation
    • Remain up to date with developments, policies and competitor activity in the healthcare sector.

    The Candidate

    Strong interest in working both in the healthcare technology sector and a preference to join an agency with ambitious growth plans are important. Previous experience in healthcare and public-sector technology is not essential but experience of working through government frameworks to deliver internal and external communications solutions to public sector clients would be valuable. Experience of PR and dealing with the media will give you the edge as will experience of branding and messaging strategy.

    You will be able to demonstrate:

    • Previous experience at senior account director level within an agency environment
    • Understanding of digital marketing specifically across social, content, PR, media and campaign led marketing projects within a B2B environment
    • Success in building and maintaining strong client relationships while delivering projects to the highest standard, on time and to budget
    • Experience of executing strategic plans
    • Experience of leading and developing accountable and resilient teams and individuals
    • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
    • Ability to work expertly across all elements of the marketing mix
    • Experience in creating and implementing pro-active PR campaigns with excellent media contacts across traditional and digital channels
    • Experience and understanding of the social media landscape and directing projects in this space
    • Ability to spot business development opportunities and network effectively to grow existing client revenues and work on new business opportunities

  • Marketing Executive (digital and PR engagement B2B) - Central London, UK

    £25k £28k

    The Opportunity
    We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced marketing executive, specialising in PR and digital engagement, to bring digital marketing ideas, experience and execution to Highland Marketing’s brand offering.

    Specific Responsibilities
    Working closely with Account teams and the content team, you will:

    • Develop and execute on-line marketing strategies for clients to improve traffic rates, lead generation and conversions
    • Formulate and deliver marketing plans, ideas and solutions to key clients, primarily maximising social media, identifying key channels, adapting content, utilising digital tools for best measurement and building and monitoring activity plans
    • Develop skills across PR campaigns including liaison with media and monitoring for coverage
    • Carry out research and social listening across all client markets.
    • Apply traditional marketing and communication strategies to on-line audiences
    • Write articles, blogs and stories for PR placement and other promotional collateral
    • Support the day to day running of the business including account management support and data processing.

    The Candidate
    You will be a graduate with at least 2 years’ experience in an agency or a consultancy and possibly in account management. Some cross-discipline experience in media relations, PR and graphic design would be an advantage.

    Passion, energy and drive are a must.

    You will be able to:

    • Assess and comprehend client needs and design and implement timely, creative and appropriate solutions
    • Apply traditional marketing tools in a digital world, adding value to our largely B2B clients’ business plans
    • Work with digital and social insights and analytics tools from Google Analytics, content management platforms to social platform insights and social listening tools (eg Radian 6, Brandwatch, Hootsuite etc.)
    • Apply digital and social measurement from KPI development to tracking and campaign evaluation
    • Deploy paid social media campaigns – strategy and execution
    • Apply SEO and utilise content in the digital and social space
    • Analyse and report on visitor data and devise new ways to market products and services.
    • Write skillfully and creatively across a range of communications including internal newsletters, reports and press-releases, pre-written copy and proposals
    • Engage confidently in new media and technologies
    • Build and maintain strong relationships both with your colleagues and within client accounts
    • Understand and contribute to effective account management
    • Communicate with the media and place content
    • Self-motivate and multi-task across several client projects.
