Nick is an experienced journalist and content/communications consultant with particular expertise in covering health policy, health technology and the European pharmaceutical sector.
Nick has written for an array of specialist publications covering these sectors, including The BMJ, Digital Health, and the HIMSS publications.
After various forays in student journalism Nick edited his university newspaper (as it was more enjoyable than writing history essays), before going on to complete his training at City University London’s Department of Journalism.
In 2013 Nick joined Health Service Journal as a reporter, covering an array of health policy areas - from primary care, technology, and NHS finance to procurement and community services. He then enjoyed a stint covering pharmaceutical and healthcare companies for a specialist financial newswire service.
Since then, aside from his specialist journalism work, Nick has helped clients like Samsung Business UK’s healthcare division, Allocate Software, Chubb Insurance, and a range of health tech solutions providers.
Nick enjoys helping clients bring their stories to the right audiences in creative ways - whether through incisive editorial copy or concise and actionable marketing material.
Nick’s other key interest is in writing about personal finance and he always enjoys finding fun ways to cut his costs, particularly if they involve smartphone and banking apps.
