I studied biology at the University of Bath and after graduating in 2018, I spent a year working and travelling. I visited Guatemala, Belize and Mexico in Central America, and Thailand, Vietnam, Laos and Myanmar in South East Asia.

During my placement year, I worked at a pharmaceutical company, in the regulatory affairs department, but was also fortunate to be able to explore other areas of the business. Working closely with the marketing department allowed me to acquire an understanding of communications within the science industry; it gave me the drive to want to pursue a career in health tech marketing and PR.

As a biology graduate, I really value the importance of healthcare technology and understand how essential it is to manage clients’ PR and marketing campaigns efficiently and effectively.”
A little bit about Tia:
  • I am sporty and enjoy starting the day by going to the gym. I have played tennis since I was 4 years old and have recently got into watching the cricket.
  • I really enjoy trying new food. When travelling around South East Asia, I tried all of the local delicacies, including crickets and meal worms.
  • I love science; I am always interested in keeping up to date with the latest advances and regularly volunteer up new facts (whether people want to hear them or not).
