  • Senior account executive

    £25,000 to £30,000 DOE plus private health and gym membership

    COVID-19 considerations:
    We are asking members of the HM team to monitor their health, take personal responsibility and advise if they feel unwell and need to self-isolate.

    The current role will entail working from home until we re-enter our boutique office space in the city of London at some point in the new year.  Most client and team communications are taking place via MS Teams.

    As a key member of the client services team, the SAE will work across all communication channels; PR, social media and events, taking ownership of specific client projects helping to deliver excellent result for clients.

    PR experience is a must; experience in the healthcare and / or technology sectors would be an advantage but is not necessary. Just as important is the willingness to develop a passion and understanding of these markets.

    The role:

    The successful senior account executive will be instrumental in the design and delivery of client campaigns.  Day-to-day you can expect to work across all communication channels; PR, social media and events, taking ownership of specific client projects. Whether you are  developing PR strategies, networking and building relationships with clients, co-ordinating campaigns, producing compelling copy, exploring routes to market or developing a deep understanding of client objectives, it will be your passion for healthcare / health tech that helps deliver excellent results for clients.

    In more detail the senior account executive will:

    • Support account directors and account managers in the execution of agreed client campaigns / deliverables;
    • Produce weekly and monthly campaign / project status reports for clients and liaising with clients regarding project and campaign updates;
    • Write content ranging from press releases and case studies to blogs and social media posts (Twitter, LinkedIn etc.);
    • Help to run pro-active, issues-based PR campaigns including reading traditional and social / digital media daily, completing daily coverage and news roundups, pitching stories to the media, tracking feature opportunities and arranging media interviews;
    • Help to develop and implement a range of communication campaigns / projects including social media, marketing collateral, websites, events, databases, direct mail and video;
    • Develop and maintain knowledge of the healthcare / health tech and media landscapes.

    About you:

    A positive attitude will be as important as your skills and experience.

    Strong candidates will have worked in similar roles for example, senior account executive / junior account manager / SAE / AE / PR executive / PR & marketing executive or similar, with a CV that demonstrates:

    • Agency experience in PR and experience of dealing with the media.
    • Experience in healthcare / health tech would be preferable, but not necessary, just as important is your willingness to develop a passion for and understanding of these markets.
    • Strong knowledge of both traditional and digital media landscapes.
    • Evidence of having built effective relationships with journalists with the drive and skills to build your contact list further.
    • Experience of helping to deliver thoughtful, inspiring and creative integrated PR and communications campaigns.
    • The interpersonal skills to develop strong working relationships and work collaboratively – you are a real team player.
    • The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing across a wide range of formats.
    • The ability to juggle multiple projects; an eye for detail and an ability to prioritise.
    • The desire and ambition to learn and improve your PR knowledge.
    • Resilience; able to overcome challenges.

  • Account director/senior account director

    £competitive salary (DOE) plus private health, gym membership and pension.

    We are looking for an account director/senior account director (AD/SAD), preferably with previous experience in the healthcare and/or health tech sectors, who will make their mark as a commercially astute leader and who can create and execute bold and innovative account strategies and grow client revenues. The AD/SAD will take the lead with clients, providing insightful and creatively led expertise across marketing communications, PR and social media campaigns, connecting customers with brands and engaging and building advocacy at all times. Critical to the role is the ability to lead, manage and develop capable and resilient account teams with the determination and energy to excel.

    Specific responsibilities include:

    • Creating and executing client account strategies – demonstrating deep understanding and insight into clients’ strategic goals and exceeding expectations.
    • Taking the lead with clients from day one, delivering innovative marketing communications, PR and other content and media campaigns.
    • Maximising revenues from existing client accounts.
    • Supporting client proposal development and presentations.
    • Engaging effectively with internal stakeholders, including content and design leads, working collaboratively across the organisation.
    • Leading, managing and developing account teams.

    Strong candidates will have:

    • Previous experience and/or strong interest in health tech/healthcare sectors or close equivalent.
    • Experience of executing strategic marketing communications and PR plans.
    • Success in building and maintaining strong client relationships while delivering projects to the highest standard, on time and to budget.
    • Strong understanding of digital marketing across social, content, PR, media and campaign led marketing projects within a B2B environment.
    • Experience of leading and developing capable and resilient teams and individuals; setting direction, strengthening capability and coaching for performance.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Ability to spot business development opportunities and network effectively to grow existing client revenues and work on new business opportunities.
